At the end of the day it's an amazingly pretty house and if you choose nice period colours and not horrid bright trade whites it will be stunning.
Rose of Jericho make very antique looking paint and give proper advice over the phone about which kind to use over different substrates. I mention FnB a lot, and do use them a lot, but for the exterior I'll be using Rof J and Little Greene, even though I know FnB make the historic limewashes and distempers in their range of colours ( or many of them anyway). This is because FnB have really narked me off with their far too modern approach of late. However if you do use Rose of J bear in mind that different batches of the same colour really do come out differently and their tester cards aren'
