O/T Period Tumbledryers

Well of course where I come from I tend to keep away from vehicles, just because, well, I don't know to be honest. Just tend to follow the herd. Of course over here I'm on my own, but nevertheless I do like to fit in, so I have my very own van, complete with dust under the seat. What it needs though is a sun-roof to stick my ears out of, as it is uncomfortable on long journeys to have ones ears bent over, don't you find?

I'd always considered that once dust got under the seat it was there forever.

Leaf blowers? Brilliant bits of kit! Mine gobbles up the leaves on our patch in ten minutes where it takes more like two hours with a rake. It's a piggin' sight less exhausting too: at my age one has to ration one's exercise intake carefully to avoid overdoing it.

Leaf blowers? use when "them next door"are out shopping to blow the leaves over the fence! (they have a rake!)

Apparently those of the fanatical car polishing persuasion sometimes use leaf blowers to blow all the water off the car they've just washed, to help stop water marks.

Fanatical car polishing, or for that matter car polishing of any kind, is a very rare thing at Feltwell Towers. Apart that is from the amusement of watching my neighbour who every Sunday morning, come rain, sleet or snow, will be outside polishing away at his wife's car. It's a Mini - in fact he's polished it so much I do wonder if it started out as a Maxi.
