My sons are 8 & 6. They have inheerited by Adonis-like features and Einsteinian intellect, and can leap tall buildings, bend steel in their hands, etc etc.

Plumbersmate's son has travelled more than me!!!

Al is off to the remote north of Lapland on Wednesday for 4 days of Snow Sculpting.
While I'm sculpting plasterboard for a ceiling!!
Though I got a bit of history on our property earlier today, when two old chaps arrived and were looking around.
Their Mother used to be in service here in the early 1900's, their father was a cartman and called here regularly to collect potatoes and that was how he met her.
Then, later on, his dad used to bring him down poaching and scrumping.
Nice couple, one is 76 the other 86.

It must be more comon than we think!
My Grandma was a lady's maid at Haddon Hall and my Grandad was a carter and they met when he was delivering to the Hall.
I always thought it was a nice one-off story but you obviously had to watch these carters if you were in service!
It made a visit to Haddon Hall quite an emotional experience though.

That's it, I bounce up and down from my two step steps and then swing from a beam. If I crash to the floor with the beam in my hands I swap it for anew one, if I hang there, it stays.

We found little brass suede brushes very useful foe cleaning old oak up where splashes of paint and plaster had got onto them.

Yes they are good, but I'm just finishing cleaning all the old gloss and whatever paint from the black beams so we can have them natural wood colour, so they are having one last clean with water, having ben kling stripped before drying and oiling.
