I disagree. Surely the law of entropy suggests that nothing will sustain itself. Anything is sustainable, but this requires human intervention by someone who is prepared to go to the time/trouble/expense of sustaining it.

I'm not really sure whether that makes any sense. :?

Well I don't know about the rest of you, but Mrs FW has sustained the current cold front for a considerable timescale. Apparently, rampant chickens, dying sheep and escaping pigs are not her idea of fun. :roll:

This is even more upsetting to read. I hope the animals start behaving themselves and you get forgiven very soon. Make her a lovely eggy brek!

The cold front has been followed by an icy one - shortly after one of the miscreant chickens carped on the kitchen carpet... :shock:

Chris gets really funny about that too. I think they're so cute when they march in and start laying eggs behind curtains! One of my little poots comes in every day at 3pm for a cuddle. Always have kitchen roll and a bottle of Mr Muscle kitchen spray to hand for when they decide to decorate the floor.
