That doesn't sound like a difficult job at all - quite routine. Preferably done in the workshop rather than on site so more difficult if you can't remove the windows.

Glad you've said that. The windows can be removed (as long as I can plug the hole temporarily).

RESTORATION OF SCULPTURE, MUSEUM OBJECTS & FURNITURE
Philip Crook, of Vitrail Studios in Newcastle, restored a broken stained glass panel
of St Nicholas (panel ..) from the inner Hall doors and a small panel of St Cecilia
(panel .) from the fanlight above. The St Cecilia panel had been missing from the
arrangement since it was blown out of the fanlight by bomb damage in World
War II and the St Nicholas panel had been covered with paper to hold broken
pieces in place for many years. Both were reinstalled in July.
