Not only should Grandpa have a capital G, the apostrophe they've used in "person's" is backwards. Tsk.

Yes Tony, am aware of that. It is difficult to establish the exact date when asbestos was regulated, this was built in 1997. I am planning plaster skim.

Asbestos was banned from building constructionin 1999, so allowing for merchants not throwing away things anything around the 2000 mark would be suspect.
It was first banned in 1984/5 well the 2 other types were, so all 3 types banned but easily found in a variety of products such as lino tiles, heat resistant boards, insulation, roof soffits, etc etc.
