If it swallowed the cork, it definitely won't sink. But if the cormorant manages to expel the cork, it might have found a new method of avian propulsion.

I've never actually seen a cormorant on Coniston.

Cheeky little box office b***ards always agree immediately without asking me for proof of my age.

The Grade II Listed Hexham Forum does indeed knock a quid off, but I send the OH to the ticket sales and so far they haven't questioned his being decepit, no proof required, so I doubt they will question my age either. It's living with him for years has aged me well before my time, of course.

Thanks. I'd have taken more, but I think hyperthermia was setting in. You can see the fork in the first shot, resting on the fence. We found it under a compost heap and just left it hanging around as 'art'.

I prefer to think of my garden tools as art, too. That way I have an excuse for not plunging them into the earth.

The solution to hyperthermia is a cool shower. The solution to hypothermia is an extra overcoat. :wink:
