Mechanical Ventilation for Basement

I'm going to see how this single Fan works out. From what I gleaned by reading up on the matter, an identical Fan blowing air into the cellar from my ground floor would create positive air pressure which would be even better. If I do go for the extra fan blowing into the cellar I'm hiding it in this under stairs dog kibble cupboard. As you can see the door is very leaky at the bottom right hand corner so I reckon airflow won't be restricted.

I'm really happy with the way the beam is drying out. The top photo is the latest approx 2 weeks after installation. The left hand side has almost completely dried out. It does look like I do have some sort of leak though as the top has taken on water. It's slightly below ground level so no massive shock. The cellar feels warmer, dryer and smells less fusty even though the weather has deteriorated recently.
