I drove past it yesterday so only caught a glimpse, but my impression was that there was an estate agent's board outside the house between you and the YMCA - the sort of khaki/olive green one - number 46? I imagine you'll be proved correct, although perhaps a building of that grandeur might become "luxury executive apartments" rather than just flats. One can only hope that, in view of its II* status, any work done will be extremely sympathetic to the original building.Moo said:flats

Moo' s old street in Norwich is simply lovely.
Interesting question about the listing Moo, ask me in a few months when I've been through the process of getting permissions! I have loved saying to tradesmen ( and anyone who'll listen) that it's listed, it just makes them pause a bit before picking up the hammer, and it's easier than trying to explain my horror of losing the original fabric. Life is very uncertain and at the time of listing we could not have known we would ever have had the funds for major works as they are dependent on a small inheritance it didn't seem likely we would get - but we did. Plus, at any moment something could happen to make Chris's commute to London impossible in which case we would have to sell BC, as it's only the London salary that keeps it going - if he were to work locally we would need to downsize. I'd hate to sell it unlisted.
