It would be a weird buyer that buys a property where nothing meets todays BR, but pulls out because a window doesnt meet BR. Yes the solicitor should note it, but that doesnt mean a buyer would pull out. The seller can simply reply that nothing else meets BR either, since its centuries old, thats what youre buying. And if you dont want that, buy a new house.
