Oh shame - I thought that link was going to be your mucky pome.Nemesis said:I once wrote a poem about your local park... it's a tad risque though.
Nemesis - we have what we have. As you've decided to join us (and it's great to have your experience and knowledge to augment the "team"), then let's just accept it, eh?Nemesis said:I do wish that I could type in a box where the typeface was larger, and the leering and winking brigade wasn't distracting at the left... this site is sooo unfriendly to use.
Yes, I know you don't like it, but don't you think that there comes a time when one has to just move on? It is at it is.Nemesis said:Just all so unneccssary IMHO, and I find it hard work to use, read and write. Can see very few advantages and a large number of disadvantages. The much vaunted 'extra features' I am sure the old format could have adapted a little more. I can't seem able to turn off the winking and blinking and leering brigade on my left and wish I could. I don't mind occasional use but the whole lot are irritating! I really hate those quote boxes and although the print in the text is large enough it's too small in the quoty part. As somone with an interest in readability of text I wouldn't have started from here to design a site...
I bet you will! You're hooked like the rest of us!Nemesis said:Not so sure I'll stick with it
That's interesting, GK. With IE, if you hold down CTRL and roll your mouse wheel, text gets bigger or smaller (depending on which way you roll). This works in every website I've ever visited, but not with text in this forum. Wonder why?GK said:Get Firefox and bin IE. Then just hold the ctrl key down and press the plus sign on the keyboard, the text gets bigger. Press minus, it goes smaller again. Couldn't be easier.
