Insurance for thatched mid terraced house

If you don't have much in the way of possessions you probably don't mind getting broken in to and you certainly don't expect your house to burn down taking the neighbours with it. Mind you I got totally wiped out by an artic lorry at a mini roundabout last night and when I tried to sneakily limp home after midnight down the back village roads (40 mins journey) I happened to chance upon the one police car probably within a 10 mile radius. I didn't expect either of those occurrences either.

Sods/Murphys Law at work there - just what the uninsured terrraced house thatch owner needs to worry about.... and his/her neighbours.

After lots of hunting, I've discovered that County Insurance Services will insure mid terrace thatches under their Heritage brand, underwritten by Aviva. Not cheap but insurable!
