Oh, I'm sure we all like a nice chicken update Toby! Your girls sound really sweet. The comb flicking is lovely, but what's totally adorable is when they shimmy their tails. You watch them, they seem to do it when they're feeling particularly flirtatious.
Mine are all in good form; the new gold laced Orpingtons are settling nicely and learning that waiting below the windows for dropped food parcels is a good idea. Stymphy, who is only 6 inches high, has recently decided the greenhouse belongs to him and his two tiny ladies. It's very funny to watch him kicking Harrowby out, who's about 10 x bigger.
