hi penners, yes i have been intouch with several companys and am waiting for samples,the house is timber frame,wattle and daub it was built before 16th c , some of the wattle and daub is still good but most needs repairing or replacing,we are sourcing the daub locally probably make our own from the garden,with crushed chalk,staw or and hay i have lots of info on how to mix it,will be lots of fun,we will probably go with sheeps wool for the external walls but as i have said before i am awaiting for professionall advice before we go for it.
I would like to thank you all for your advice and support,it has been very helpfull and am sure that i will leaving new threads in the near future.

Don't forget one vital ingedient for your daub, Kim. You'll find piles of it lying around in fields where livestock have grazed!
