Installing electrical sockets in woodfibre

Hi,

I'm currently installing woodfibre insulation on the inside of the outer walls of my stonebuilt end terrace.
I would like to install electrical sockets into some of these walls, but I'm struggling to find any information online about how to do it.
I can't guarentee getting a solid fixing into the wall behind the woodfibre and also the it's 80mm thick, plus a leveling lime layer, so I'll struggle to find anything other than a frame fixing that's would be long enough to reach through the woodfibre.
So I guess the question is how do I install a socket into woodfibre walls (plastered with lime) to make sure they're solid?
Has anyone done it and if so how?

I'd probably fix a wooden batten to the wall with two or three (stainless steel ?) screws, and then fix the backbox to that.

As said, remove a rectangle of the board and replace with solid timber attached to the stone. Wood fibre boards aren’t designed for fixing into, only through. But that’s not really an easy option here.

Standard practice is to fix the back box to the wall not the wood fibre or lime, and use long screws to attach the plate. Or try other ideas stated above

Thanks for the replies I'll do as you suggest and cut through the wood fibre and fix a block of wood straight to the wall and build out as necessary
