I'd have thought concrete wouild be the perfect base for mosaic.

It's something you just get used to over the years, Middi. It's a terrible affliction, but I bear it with fortitude (actually nowadays it's sixtitude, but I try to keep quiet about that).

I dont suppose it would make much difference, unless one used unglazed mosaic pieces.
