I've got round to starting today, as it is too nice to be inside all the time oiling beams, thoght it is also good oil drying weather :roll:

So here we go, a before and after blacking of a couple of fireplace parts, more to folow and I'll aso try a bit of polishing!!

Jo works, in our house everything is my job these days, apart from ironing, I take so long over it Jo would rather just do it!!

I've finished blacking, now to decide on polishing!!

yes, it'll hopefully be keeping us warm when we move into this bedroom when it's all finished, cos it'll be winter again by then !!!!
