Interesting! I had the Holkhams paintwork on one window go impressively pink, which I assumed was some form of bacterial or fungal bloom. I put it down to not going back and doing more coats - it was one of these end-of-the-day, little-bit-of-paint-left-in-the-kettle, I'll-just-touch-this-up-while-I'm-here jobs, and it only ever got a single coat (until this week when again I had another little-bit-of-paint-left-in-the-kettle, I'll-just-touch-this-up-while-I'm-here moment!)
