Thank you everyone for commenting on my thread. As you can imagine I’m losing a fair bit of sleep over this and other issues… it’s just one thing after another.
I’ve spoken to someone at Mike Wye Limecrete this morning - they discussed the option of excavating and placing the geocell down plus limcrete. It’s still going to cost a lot because of the excavation, so I’m curious to know if I could just put limecrete straight down over what’s already there? The builder says it’s earth but it looks a bit limey and solid to me. The SPAB architect I spoke to this morning thinks it’s unlikely that the quarry tiles were laid directly on to earth. Any further thoughts on how to move forward and what method to use?
