Oh. I thought the world was ready for a new birthday song but that's as far as I've got.Penners said:So it's "Hippopotamus, chick, sheep" to Yamin.
Doesn't exactly trip off the tongue, does it?

If you need any practice, I can provide a suitable subject.Flyfisher said:I'll go back to fixing the mower.

Mine is physically broken - a broken cast-iron pulley on the cutter deck. Unfortunately I can no longer get a spare part (it's a 1988 mower) so I'm trying to repair this one. Fortunately it's not completely broken, only the central section that attaches to the cutter shaft actually broke off. So, I've bored out a new hole on the lathe and a friend is machining a new insert for me. I then need to build up the cutter shaft with a bit of welding (it had been badly worn during the run-up to the eventual failure), then turn it down again to the correct diameter. Then bolt the new insert to what's left of the original pulley, reassemble the whole pulley/cutter-shaft assembly, weld together rather large crack in the cutter-deck, fit a new belt to replace the one that was shredded when the pulley broke and then . . . . hope that it all holds together long enough to get the grass cut!
My apologies. I did think it was a bit OTT, but I was on a roll.yamin said:My head hurts!
