I gather that a great deal of fresh painting had been carried out in celebration of its anniversary. Seaside regeneration in action. http://www.aberaeron.info/ http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/mid/sites/aberaeron/pages/phototour.shtml http://www.bbc.co.uk/wales/mid/sites/aberaeron/pages/bicentenary_heritage.shtml Silloth in Cumbria has had a similar makeover with paint in recent times - rather mixed public reactions to that! http://www.sillothonsolway.free-online.co.uk/aboutsilloth.htm http://www.visitcumbria.com/wc/silloth.htm [Open Image] [Hosted by PhotoGalaxy.com] http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/hstchg/ss1/slide1.htm [Open Image] [Hosted by PhotoGalaxy.com]

B biffvernon Member Messages 4,607 Location Lincolnshire Dec 12, 2007 #27 That was quite fun. I used Holkham's white linseed oil paint and mixed in some blue pigment, in two strengths, that I bought from Mark Womersley
