Exterior Ground Level Decision

I've been doing bits and pieces on the trench over the last few months and with the quarter brick edging added today it's just about there. I went for 30mm thick grating because there is a chance I might touch a corner with a car wheel, but otherwise copied Zebra (the Fibregrid is excellent - thanks). It rests on a retaining wall on one side, and on the other there is a stainless steel support every 1m fixed to the ground with stainless studs which I might get around to resin fixing into the concrete

There is a pipe to the soakaway directly under the drain pipe. Otherwise the trench just channels water that drips off the wall. I''m getting better at brick laying.

I've just seen this! Don't know how I missed it last summer. That looks great malcolm, I'm so glad you found the fibregrid stuff useful!

Doesn't it look neat in the photo. It is currently covered by a plastic sheet with a pile of rubble on top which fell off the wall bringing the ground level back up to where it was. I must get around to clearing some of the rubble away so I can see if the fibregrid was strong enough to survive the oak beam I dropped from the scaffolding.
