Ratsprick - in classic trollspeak - you are 'showing your true colours' and I reckon you've had more than enough rope.

It's not even amusing, is it? Bit sad though.

And you know - we are a pretty friendly bunch on this site in general (one or two exceptions, and we have disagreements at times ( hydraulic v non-hydraulic v hydrate v ready mix, that sort of thing...) and I reckon people who know me know the sort of person I am. It's not the person you would like to think I am. So you really are making an absolute pratt of yourself you know.

At the risk of interrupting what seems to be a classic rally here, could I just put a point for the poor, downtrodden amateur on this forum?
When I see a thread that starts with a question and which runs through a series of permutations before ending in an answer, I always assume that the answering post is the one that says *link*.
As a result, I tend to try to read the posts that have *link* in the title, because I thirst for enlightenment.
Sadly, however, I find that in recent weeks most of the messages which have said *link* in the tail are nothing more or less that adverts for a rather mediocre chemical-based damp-proofing outift, the likes of which I'd hesitate to recommend to someone with a 1980's semi, let alone a period property.
So could we please stop bunging links on the bottom of posts unless they actually MEAN something?
As many will testify, I'm an easy-going sort, slow to rile and quick to subside, but when I see an attempt to spam this place with#####ads, I do tend to get cross.
And, to your credit, the 'contact me' details you give on your website are accurate, so have a care - if I can get cross and even think about the despatch of a strongly-worded missive to 37 Woodhead Road, Holmfirth, just think what crosser folk might do. At least I only keep sheep - there's some here with cows and large slurry tanks!
