He's certainly an authority on colours, apossibly paint as well. This is mass market stuff though. However, according to Peter, the joy of 'real' paint was the way the pigment was held in suspension - being not mashed to bits in mass production. He likened it to a fruit cake craefully hand made to retain the fruit whole, as opposed to being all crushed up in a mechanical mixer.
