I was just going to suggest that a tune should be agreed on, and that it is likely that Joce actually had one in mind when she composed her plangent poem (which scans so very neatly).
It would, of course, have to be one that we all can hum** which (speaking for myself personally at this moment in time) isn't the case with Yamin's suggestion. I sort of recognise that marvellous rumty-tumty rhythm, but can't for the life of me think of the tune. Perhaps she could provide us with a link to the sheet music?
And one thing it must have, of course, is A Chorus.
** Something really stirring, perhaps - like "Land of Hope and Glory" or "Jerusalem" ?
Or a bit less reverent by G & S?
