We've recently moved into a lovely house in cirencester and I can't wait to remove the ugly UPVC door and replace it with a period victorian door.
I have thought long and hard about colours and have done much research already. I would like to have the drainpipe and the front door in the same colour as many people seem to have in this area, and would love to use Hopsack (as mentioned in the council's Cotswold Design Code). In the Hammerite paint chart the colour 'Stone' looked almost identical to 'Hopsack'. Great! I thought, but alas they aren't.
Can anyone tell me where I can get matching door and drainpipe paint if I want to use the cotswold colour scheme? I was under the impression that you could only use hammerite on drainpipes to avoid rusting.
I hope that's clear.
PS. The colour is very similar to this background colour.
