Its barely 8.30am! I'm impressed at the wit and sharp humour emanating from Camp Wiggs (no insult intended!!!)! I would also assert that the likelihood is that said pedant will in all probability, be grammatically correct in all that he writes or vocalises, even if he is a general pedant as well. So surely the grammatical pedant incorporates the grammar pedant.

It would appear that I am going to be entered into the national finals with projects like, St Pauls, Wollaton Hall and Gorton Monastry ( world heritage site).

It is starting to feel a bit David and Goliath. I know that strict set marking procedures apply and have more faith in the RICS
to be honest and unbiased. its a bit scary though.

We had my friends Jenny and Cyril here at the weekend for a party who won the SW conservation award last year with Clerks Cottage. It gained a highly commended at national with Beeliegh Abbey winning with St Pancras getting national project of the year.

Any how getting to the finals is a big thing and whilst i may fantasise about winning, the odds are against that I think the best I can hope for is a commended if I do get an award.

Exciting yes it has been a strange ride over the last week coming to terms with being the project of the Year for the South West.

I have had severe issues dealing with the reality of the fact my project in the final is running with a world heritage site Gorton Monastery and also St Paul's Cathedral amongst many others

Congratulationbs!

It is rather an odd plaque given the nature of the award - reminds me of the award I once won for use for the innovative use of computers in education that I won - a large crystal trophy shaped like a pencil.

Yes I was awarded the highly commended at the beginning of the evening, whilst hoping for the full awards I sat back down at the table convinced myself I had done extremely well and continued to relax and quoff wine.

When they got to the Project of the year and announced it was me me I bounced out of my seat saying "bloody hell", to which others at the table commented " he didn't know he was getting that then!".

They were right, I was shell shocked, infact I have only just been coming to terms with it the last couple of days.
