There are a couple of tricks that help power limited combis deliver better results.
1. a drain heat exchanger on the shower gives you a given shower performance with less energy input.
2. The cold feed to the hot water equipment can be put through a plate heat exhancger with the hot CH circuit on the other side. Now during heating season your CH prewarms your hot tap water, resulting in quicker bath fills. In summer you dont get this preheat effect, but temps are warmer all round so its less needed.
