Good grief - if that bathroom "renovation" cost anything like the $45,000 quote, then I'm in the wrong business... :shock:
We had one of the bathstore.com slipper baths in our last house - modern, but very nice and not as quickly cooling as the cast iron bath we put into the house before that. A safety tip when installing a cast iron upstairs - make sure you tie a rope through the tap holes and around something solid upstairs (solid newel post or something substantial) and have someone keep tension on the rope. Ours slipped a little with me behind it - the rope prevent serious injury...
The Elfin Saftee will probably suggest better ways of doing this then a rope!
