I use IE and never see advertisements except those pushed out by Macromedia Flash Player and I can switch those off too.
Well, having read your linked item, I still reckon Mozilla are nervous about the problem. Even if it is "only" a denial-of-service issue. Only?Manny said:Old news: Clicky

I take it this is not part of your listed building?
  :lol:Gareth Hughes said:SAVE have called on English Heritage to do more to rescue the last surviving Fart Button, which is threatend with replacement by something more tasteful. Spokesperson Madam Silkybum said 'Fart Buttons are an important part of British popular culture - this one was used by Sid James, Charles Hawtrey and Kenneth Williams. Sadly, most Fart Buttons have now been replaced with genteel Westminster Chimes, and this may be the only example left in working order."
That's just blatent advertising and not allowed on this forum. Why don't you pay for an advert? Don't you know it costs money to run a site like this? :evil:Penners said:The good news is that I can offer my services to produce high quality reproduction fart buttons. They must, of course, be used in the right context, and not simply added to inappropriate buildings as a pastiche.
They are manufactured from English oak and lime putty, using traditional methods. Customers will have to provide their own brussels sprouts.
I'm a non-profit-making organisation. Does that make a difference?biffvernon said:That's just blatent advertising
