Well, in the case of Mr Forster's water tower you might have given more even-handed coverage of the need to balance visually intrusive green technology with the need to conserve the character of our relatively small number of listed buildings, perhaps by quoting the government inspector who refused consent for the solar panels he fitted without permission, rather than portraying it as "little man trying to save the planet is told he can't by mad faceless officials"Build a New Life said:May I enquire about your negativity?

I personally don’t think we need to, our contributors are colourful law-abiding citizens and love the building they renovate, and we of course support them.. I’m simply trying to explain we do not dictate the publics tastes nor builds.. with or with out a camera crew documenting, Mr Forster [who now has a fan bass for he’s amazing build] would still have decided to place the solar panels on the Water Tower to help the environment – who did in fact remove the panels when the planning office asked him to.
Never apologise, madam. There are very few of us left with the will to maintain a staunch defence of our beloved language.shelli said:sorry to be a pedant
