Congratulations! It's great to complete a phase, even if you start thinking of the Forth Bridge.
I've learned the hard lessons, and have been brushing up on all the traditional skills for the minor running repairs. It came in useful recently when doing a major repair job on our 13th century Grade I listed church: I knew what the architect and the builder were talking about. I even told them I wasn't convinced it was a good idea to do an area of lime render outside last December: they thought it would be OK, I turned out to be right (but we only paid for one go).

Roofing to finish tomorrow, last skip being uplifted and scaffold down on Thursday, 10 ton of stone arriving to be spread on Friday. To be honest still a few odd jobs to be done after New Year like some leadwork, external wiring to be re-fixed to walls and an old oil tank concrete plinth to be removed. Lots of redecorating inside but that can wait!

Seriously, it looks great, once limewashed it will look even better. And all done just in time for Christmas, what a result!
