As posted above, this is exactly what I did and was very impressed and had my ground floor beams done after seeing his work (likewise anyone in midlands is welcome to come and see mine as a reference).
We had zero mess and no spills, it looks good (not as good as natural wood but a damn sight better than black paint or dark varnish). All 3 rooms were complete in 12 hours and all furniture back in place (no smell or odours).
I did try klin-strip but with a 1 year old at the time didnt want copious amounts of chemicals in the house.
I would add that when I first enquired Nick was very clear over the telephone about the process and did not attempt to mislead (dont forget a website is to generate enquiries).
The process will not be for everyone but it is a reasonable option without damaging fabric nature of building (one contractor suggested blasting which is far too destructive).
