Just out of interest did you stain your boards? I like the dark colour.I just wanted to say thanks for everyones advice with the bathroom floor. In the end i used sawdust from the floorboards, mixed with boiled linseed oil and rosin (same as i'd used for burnt sand mastic), it was a bit messy but made a workable paste that i could force in between the boards and wipe clean. I left this for a few days to harden up then varnished on top. It's been 2 months now and looks the same as when i first did it so hopefully it's done the trick! ...time will tell i guess, but happy with the result.

I used Lecol in 2004. Would recommend. Mixed with saw dust.I think there are products available now that you can use to fills gaps in floorboards, like Lecol.
