I dont claim to be wise, but you can just link to the image on another web site. The image itself has a url in the same way that a page does.

Try clicking the right mouse button on an image and then selecting properties you will see the image url.

depending on which internet browser you use you might have a copy image url or copy image location option

If I rt click on the house top left then choose copy image location, then click Img above, paste (ctrl-V) and click img again I get this ;

That's right, Mark, or if you right click an image and then left click on Properties you'll see the image URL, which you can then copy and paste into this message board between the img tags.

Funny how there's usually two or three ways to do something in computing, as with building.

One cat skin, many ways to take it for insulation. If you're an (ex) computer geek like me and use firefox you can simply right-click the image and select Copy Image Location, then do your ctrl-v between the img tags thang.

Cat skin insulates, eh? That explains why I never see dead cats hanging from power lines. One can learn so much on this forum.

When you say "water vulnerable", do you mean that it deteriorates rapidly when wet? I'm not sure that this is true.

Of course, any wood does eventually rot in the presence of water (although total immersion will actually preserve it for extraordinarily long periods). However, you only have to ask any gardener about his runner bean canes to discover that bamboo actually lasts for a remarkably long time under damp conditions.

You could always eat the worktops if they get too wet.

The top layer does look as though it is laminated, and the inner layers are obviously compressed but it is in fact solid (and very heavy.)

Its good at resisting rot, it used to be used as water pipes. But aiui it expands when wet, so anything made from bits stuck together would be liable to come apart. Am not certain about it though.
