What a lovely lovely building, it reminded me a lot of here with the polygonal belvedere room - but on a vastly enlarged scale - the same Regency
period I guess.
The moment when they showed the house in yellow ochre with dark windows, as it would have appeared in the early 19thC, was consequently fascinating for me as that's the plan for BC, I think. (although yellow ochre with white windows is a hard combination to resist).
I admired the owner hugely, he's put it back into the world of period property homes and it will be a great starting point for someone who does have the million or so it needs in the future. The windows need painting, the door is wrong, lime render needs putting back, the concrete floor may lead to problems - then the whole business of the ruined half - but that can all be seen to in its 21st century life now that it's been reclaimed.
