oooooo be careful-----there's some PPUKer's who are Suffolk, :lol: and of course , 'That's Normal for Norfolk' ------- tee hee!! But hey ho --we drive to a little village called Boxford once a week for gun dog training --met some lovely people, and their dogs!!!

Love the house, it is very pretty with a lovely big reception room. Enjoy.

We moved from Essex to Suffolk four and a bit years ago. We were told "they'll accept you after 25 years". That was so, so wrong. We found all the locals supremely friendly from day one, and were welcomed with open arms into all the various village activities. SWMBO loves it here.
Speaking the language helped a bit, I suppose.

I once bought a new house in Lincolnshire. When a chap came to do some little fixes after we moved in, he looked across the road and said something about what the view used to be "before the new man came". I replied "I thought it had been like that for ages, when did that happen?" and he said "Oh, about 30 years ago!"
