If I need conservation advise will now have to look in a book - which is a shame as the online forum format suits my working day and the answers to specific questions have always been helpful

Oh well, you now join others who have simply become tired of this forum, and the undercurrent of unpleasantness. So much of it is covert but maybe some of you haven't grasped that yet.

It's not been much about conservation for quite some time though.

The reason I continued to post is that I had a very kind PM, at a time when I much appreciated the support. It was explained to me that the moderators do intervene to speak to people when things become out of order. And I came to realise that I can probably ignore the nonsense and sift through it to find the gems of advice. Of course we should have differing views, that's healthy. It's not the view. It's how it's expressed.
