I am just new to the site - I have tried searching g for answers to my questions but can’t find what I am looking for.
We are in the process of buying a C17th grade II timber framed house in South Norfolk. From my limited knowledge there is probably wattle and daub infilling the timber, some may have changed over the years.
There is currently an old homemade fitted kitchen with some wall units. How easy is it to attach wall units to these type of walls. And would it be best to just paint the wall between and floor units and wall units rather than say tongue and groove panelling?
Can sockets be recessed?
There is also modern tiles on the kitchen floor (the rest of the ground floor is quarry tiles and bricks) - I assume the modern tiles would have been put down on a concrete screed. We want to change the tiles - What is the best thing to do about this?
