Hello.
We are in an old stone cottage (pre 1900). We have cleared all the cement and lime pointed all the stone.
Last October we lifted the floor flagstones. Sadly, beautiful though they were, we had to make them in to a (lovely) patio outside the back door as they are too inconsistently chunky for the floor.
We laid a glacor, underfloor heating and a limecrete screed. It's all very dry now.
We are now laying terracotta tiles in an NHL5 bed.
2 questions: should we point (grout) them in with lime too? Or is there any other options?
What can we use to breathably seal the tiles? We used an osmo oil on the upstairs bathroom tiles but I'm not sure if that is breathable, anyone know please?
Many thanks
Coral
