Hi, new to here. We have an unlisted house unknown age but found a brick under plaster etched 1617.
We have a huge triangular stone area. In one room we took the plaster off and have uncovered an inglenook, so we took out all the years or infill to open it up and have placed a log burner in it. We have been told there maybe a bread oven on another side ( awaiting explorations) but my question is am I likely to find another inglenook on the 3rd side (in another room)? There is currently an old defunct gas fire there and chimneys outside. Thanks for any help.
