Hi - this is my first ever post on this forum (or any forum) so please forgive any protocol lapses! We’re buying a Grade 2 Listed farmhouse and farm buildings. We don’t expect to get the keys until mid November. The property has already undergone extensive renovation but there’s a little more work to do. We’re keen to try and use the Green Deal Grant but we’re conscious of timelines (to qualify, work has to be completed by 31st March 2021) and we’re concerned that if we have to apply for Listed Building Consent, we’ll miss the deadline. So it would be great to understand whether it’s likely that we’d need to apply for consent for the following: Insulation of loftspace in Farmhouse - it has already been partially insulated by the present owner. Installation of secondary glazing - all the windows have been replaced (with the necessary consents) within the last 5 years and finally installation of a ground source heat pump to heat the water for an annexe - the annexe has recently been converted from a Granary and has all the pipe work in place but it’s not connected to anything. Thank you.
