Am in the middle of rennovating the small bathroom in my grade II listed terrace, including the addition of a shower.
As you walk in, wall to right is a painted plaster board partition on which I will mount the shower. Wall to left is brick divide between me and neighbouring terrace; lime plaster as far as I can tell. Far wall is outside wall; again lime plaster as far as I can tell.
Two questions.
1. Will the additional humidity cause any problems for the plaster or lath and plaster ceiling? (Window and door will be left open when shower not in use.)
2. I would like to tile the 3 walls. Full height tiling to right (plaster board partition) and half height tiling to left and end walls (lime plastered). Can I assume the conservation office would not take kindly to this at all?
