Formulation for removing Artex. Is it an good, anyone had experience of using it ?

House we are loking at buying has heavy 'rustic' effect on the walls from Artex in a typical late 60's / early-70's style. Not good in a Victorian anything so it will have to go. This product looks like a good way of removing it without the dust problems.

I haven't used it myself but I would expect it to work pretty well, Artex isn't that difficult to remove really, just take precautions if you're concerned about the possibility of it containing (very small) amounts of asbestos.

Once Artex gets damp it's usually pretty easy to scrap off. Especially if it hasn't got a thick layer of paint on it.
We've stripped Artex with just a wallpaper steamer in the past. KlingStrip (from Strippers of Sudbury) is pretty effective for more stubborn Artex too.
