With work outside finished for the time being, the bedroom conversion has recommenced.
With no fireplace readily to be seen, I'd given up hope of anything interesting with the removal of the lime plaster, but no, here we go...........
There appears to be a doorway in the brickwork, but as far as we know there has only ever been the roof behind this wall!
The single row of bricks next to it is loose and would possibly just fall out in one piece if asked
The wooden beam appears to have been rotated by 90' and reused as I can't think why all the holes would be pointing this way, and the square holes are another question, what would they have been used for?
I'll have to upload pictures later as the board quota is full and I'm not, so am going to eat and then do it for you!
