I have just moved to a house that has an old solid fuel Rayburn Royale in situ.
It is old and probably in need of repair - it is not connected to heat water or anything else and we also have central heating - it works ok but does not give out a great amount of heat to the room in my opinion.
although we have central heating we like the idea of using solid fuel burners to provide some heat.
I want to know if we would be better investing in some sort of wood burner that would be more efficient and pump out more heat? Or if any other alternatives could be suggested?
Thanks David
