It's official - it's cold - yesterday at about 4pm, working outside, I was forced to don my wooly hat for the first time this autumn (having first rescued it from the depths of the garage and blown the dust off it with an airline, of course - nothing but the best for my clothes!)
Desperately trying to get external woodwork repairs and painting done, but the weather is starting to conspire against me - too wet today to do much, even when it stopped raining everything was soaked. It getting dark so early is a pain as well. If like me you always find yourself finishing off in the dark then I heartily recommend an investment in one of these - a decent LED one is amazingly effective, much better than a torch or fixed light. I bought one a couple of weeks ago, which I'd bought one ages ago - I had a conventional bulb head torch before, which was rubbish!
