I've got a patch to do, about the size of a football.
Wall is York stone, surrounding plaster is gypsum (bonding and skim). The patch is all the way to the stone.
I've had quite good results on smaller areas, but not tried something this large. I was planning on a two stage fill.
I'm hoping it will work because I don't really want to go shopping for bonding and multifinish for such a small patch and I've got easy fill in stock.
