Which paint finish for house exterior?

Hi there, about to order farrow and ball pain for my door and windows. Which finish is best for this - eggshell??

I'd forget F&B and buy Aglaia or similar (available from PPUK Shop).

The F&B really is a pain - lasted less than 1 year on my house.

Exterior Eggshell is the finish that you'd probably be looking for, if you insist on going ahead with it.

I agree with Ian that Aglaia is kinder to your timber as it allows the wood to breathe. I'll be using that on the windows, etc. Womersley's agreed to give a discount for a bulk order.

I wonder why the F n B exterior eggshell failed on Ian's house though - here it is on my chicken shed nearly one year on and no probs at all. Also, it went on top of old Cresote which I'm sure isn't recommended.
