Apart from the ground, does anyone know of a supplier of uncoursed limestone rubble?
This is what most of the exterior of my house is made in and the previously noted Granex is to be clad in it so as to match the rest. The problem is I can't immediately lay my hands on a supplier. I wouldn't even mind going straight to a quarry if anyone knows where one is. Presumably whereever coursed limestone is to be found, there too can be found uncoursed limestone in differing sizes as nature gives it. It also is most likely to have come from within 5 miles of Oxford but I am drawing a blank.
Since the good people of PPUK put me on to BIffVernon for my windoews, sorted out my chimney capping problems, VAT issues, and sourced local craftsmen, I realise that between you posess incredible power (knowledge) so please help me again, if you can! I can promise pictures of the work in progress.
